Our focus is on serving the owners and/or operators of high-value physical assets in Southern and Eastern Africa; including the Indian Ocean Islands, as well as Australia and New Zealand. Our team is made up of specialists and engineers with more than 50 years of combined experience in generators. They have provided engineering support to clients in the power generation industry in Southern Africa, (including all of Eskom’s fleet), Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Libya, Zambia, Canada, France, Scotland, DRC, Namibia, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
Our skilled technicians with more than 15-years experience in turbo generators, will conduct condition monitoring tests in accordance with international standards and will issue preliminary feedback within 24-hours of leaving the site (if not sooner). Technicians are supported by a team of engineers to assist with specialist knowledge when required, and provide data analysis, condition assessment and final report writing services.
We are currently providing consulting services to Genesis Energy (NZ), ElectraNet (Aus), TransGrid (Aus), Hydro Tasmania (Aus), Torrens Island (Aus), Illovo Sugar (SA), Eskom (SA), Sappi (SA), Kelvin Power (SA), Sasol (SA) and various ad hoc utilities. Our Chief Specialist, Dave Tarrant, was the Principal Investigator for the EPRI report 10008719, Generator Robotic Inspection and Test Guidelines, as well as EPRI report 10012244, a Guideline on Stator Rewinds, and was the CIGRE SCA1 WGA1.43 Work Group (Generator Testing) Chairman.
